A training session consists of several components, framed by a playful warm-up and a concluding match or tournament. The training focuses on fundamental techniques, coordination, and various game forms, which are varied according to the starting level and progress of the children. WUFA+ primarily uses a game-centered teaching method, prioritizing the joy and fun of the children.
Absolutely YES. Every child is allowed to participate in the football course, regardless of their skill level. WUFA+ is specifically dedicated to gently and playfully introducing children to football, regardless of their individual playing strength.
Children who are already playing in a club are also allowed to participate in the football courses at WUFA+.
No, the football courses at WUFA+ do not participate in the regular league activities of the SFV. Occasionally, tournaments are organized where all WUFA+ locations compete against each other, and all children can participate. Additional tournaments may also take place during special events (e.g., WUFA+ Camp).
Parents are allowed to be present until the official start of the training. For the following reasons, it may be distracting for the child's focus, and we therefore recommend that parents do not attend the training:
Children primarily play football for themselves and their teammates, not for their parents.
Watching parents may put pressure on the child.
We need to trust the children and their abilities.
As a parent, you are the strongest authority figure. In the training environment, where independence is encouraged and developed, your presence may hinder this.
In simple terms, good ball control, fundamental technique, game understanding, above-average speed, and a high learning rate are key indicators of talent in today's football. Long-term talent predictions are complex and difficult, and therefore cannot be reliably made.
